What You’ll Do
As a before/after school care provider, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, supervision, and engagement with youth at various local elementary schools in the Oshkosh area. And being a positive, enthusiastic role model in children’s lives means that you are helping them with so much more than just homework.
Here’s what a typical day looks like:
- Keeping Kids Healthy: You’ll assist with and supervise snack time to ensure children start their day or afternoon with energy.
- Shaping their Learning: You’ll provide support and guidance to children as they complete their homework, helping to spark their hunger for learning.
- Outdoor Play: You’ll supervise outdoor play and encourage physical activity to promote healthy lifestyles.
- Group Lessons & Interest Areas: You’ll lead and engage children in group activities and lessons that stimulate their curiosity, learning, and creativity.
Position Details
Part-time: A great fit for individuals looking for an opportunity that fits into their busy schedule. Students, parents, and retirees are encouraged to apply!
Flexible Hours & Scheduling: Morning hours are from 5:45 a.m.- 7:45 a.m., and afternoon/evening hours are from 2:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. With opportunities in the morning and afternoon/evening, you can choose the hours that work best for you.
Available workdays are Monday-Friday, (no weekends!) and staff aren’t required to work every day of the work week. We are open to flexible arrangements and will work to accommodate your schedule.
